WHAT KIND OF WORKOUTS DO YOU DO IN CROSSFIT?

CrossFit involves a wide range of movements and equipment including (but not limited to) running, biking, rowing, weightlifting, dumbbells, push-ups, pull-ups, medicine balls, rig work, squats, lunges, jump ropes, plyo boxes, and burpees. Each class consists of varying mixtures of metabolic conditioning, gymnastics, and weightlifting. 

CAN I TRY OUT A CLASS?

Yes! We offer one free trial class for potential new athletes. We would love for you to come! Please contact us to set this up. You can click the "SEND US A MESSAGE" button at the bottom or email us at blackboxxcrossfit@gmail.com to discuss a trial class. 

HOW DOES MEMBERSHIP PAYMENT WORK?

Our registration process is done through a platform called PushPress. The links on the SIGN UP page will bring you to our registration platform. From here, you will enter your information & sign up for monthly autodraft for your membership fees. Autodraft will process on the day of sign up & then monthly from the date of initial registration. 

CAN I SIGN UP AT ANY TIME?

Yes! You can sign up at any time. Membership fees are cycled monthly from the date of registration, so there is no need for you to wait until the first of the month. 

CAN I PAY WITH CASH OR CHECK EVERY MONTH?

I'm sorry, we require all members to register through our membership platform online with autodraft. We do not accept cash or checks for memberships. 

DO YOU OFFER ANY DISCOUNTS?

Yes! We offer both a HERO DISCOUNT and a STUDENT DISCOUNT.

The HERO DISCOUNT is for military, first responders, law enforcement, & medical professionals. We are so thankful for your service & commitment! 

A STUDENT DISCOUNT is available for active college students as well. Links to sign up with applicable discounts are on the bottom of our SIGN UP page. 

I'VE NOT EXERCISED IN A WHILE/I'M UNABLE TO DO CERTAIN EXERCISES. CAN I STILL JOIN?

One of the wonderful things about CrossFit is the ability to adapt each workout to fit the needs and abilities of each individual athlete. Movements/exercises can be modified so that they challenge you but are doable. We don't expect you to walk into the gym & do a pull-up or perform olympic lifts. CrossFit is for everybody!

We do require that all athletes with injuries/prior surgeries/medical issues be evaluated by their medical provider for recommendations on pursuing an exercise regimen. Some providers may discuss avoidance of certain movements, rest periods, etc. If your doctor wants you to avoid things like high-impact exercises, let us know & we can modify specifically for you!
